Roth Design Group Ltd.
“It is my firm belief that good design impacts our life, but great design can change it. I work towards this goal every day, using this as my mantra to collaborate in the development of my clients vision to achieve a design solution that brings continuous joy to their life.”
A graduate of the California College of Arts, with a degree in Interior Architecture, Ernie Roth’s exceptional career began as a production designer in the film industry. The recipient of numerous prominent awards, Ernie has won both the Gold and Silver Lion awards at the Cannes Film Festival, Clio awards for outstanding commercials, the Mobius Advertising Awards (first place), as well as the London International Advertising Award.
In 2007, Ernie’s love of architecture and design led him to establish Roth Design Group, Ltd. Today, the environments he designs focus on the details of spaces, the beauty of spaces and how they function perfectly for the people using them. Tailoring highly individualized solutions to its clients’ very specific needs is where Roth Design Group excels.
As a guest on the popular Designer’s Challenge television program, Ernie’s 3D walk-thru of a client’s interior– a first for the program–was named winning design. Los Angeles Magazine chose Ernie’s Bottle Rock Wine Bar project as the “Best New Wine Bar in LA,” in 2007. His design for Fraiche Restaurant was selected “Best New Restaurant” by Los Angeles Magazine (2008.) Additionally, the New York Times included Fraiche Restaurant in its “The Top Ten Best New Restaurants in America,” and “Spectacular Homes of California” chose one of Ernie’s eclectically elegant interiors for a cover feature.
Roth Design Group has renovated both residential and commercial properties, including interiors for the iconic El Royale in Hollywood, built in 1929.
